What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a treatment method that augments the body's natural healing capacity by placing it in a controlled chamber, enabling significantly higher absorption of oxygen by the blood and all body tissues compared to breathing air normally. HBOT achieves this by administering nearly 100% pure oxygen at pressures higher than normal atmospheric pressure.

Our state-of-the-art chamber is specifically designed to deliver almost 100% oxygen at pressures of up to 2 ATA (twice the normal atmospheric pressure). This method has demonstrated an ability to increase blood and tissue oxygen levels by 1000% (10 times the normal levels). The elevated oxygen levels penetrate and saturate all parts of the body, including hypoxic and ischemic tissues with poor or restricted blood flow. Studies have indicated that this stimulation promotes the healing process by fostering the growth of new blood vessels, increasing the proliferation of fibroblasts and stem cells, and activating the immune system.

What to Expect

Your session will be private and will involve spending 60 to 90 minutes lying down inside a single-person chamber while wearing an oxygen mask that delivers 95% oxygen. As the pressure gradually increases, many individuals notice a sensation similar to their ears "popping," akin to the feeling on an airplane. With rising pressure, you may need to "equalize" by closing your nose and performing actions like blowing gently, swallowing, or yawning to alleviate the pressure in your ears. You will be closely monitored as the pressure increases to ensure your comfort. Most people find the experience quite relaxing. While in the chamber, you can meditate, nap, or read a book. However, electronics are not allowed inside the chamber.
